Heat-Treating Quality

Temp uses state-of-the-art Rockwell hardness tester to quickly and accurately determine the hardness of heat-treated steel. For very small parts and for Carburized parts, Temp uses a special micro hardness tester. Samples for this device are encapsulated in resin, cross-sectioned and then the target small area is accurately measured for hardness.
